ABOUT US

Canadian Residential Inspection Services (CRIS)

CRIS is a nationwide franchise system that made it's start in 1988 in the Maritimes. Canadian Residential Inspection Services, Ltd. remains a solely Canadian-owned company.

he company was established  at a time that home inspection was new to home buyers. We saw a need to address the inspection needs of the real estate marketplace, and since that time we have developed an innovative expertise in the industry.

Part of the mandate of Canadian Residential Inspection Services, Ltd. is to ensure that you receive an objective, professional inspection that is free from conflicts of interest. That means that we are working for YOU - not for your real estate agent. We are not contractors and we do not benefit from the sale or repair of the home. We will not be recommending companies involved in the construction or renovation business. Your inspection will be unbiased and objective.

Canadian Residential Inspection Services, Ltd. is dedicated to performing the highest quality, unbiased home inspection with courteous, prompt professional service.

We are one of the oldest home inspection companies in Canada with 30+ years experience specializing solely in home inspections. We currently have a network of Franchisees that extends from coast to coast.

"All across Canada, friends tell friends about us."

Our Reporting System

Canadian's detailed reporting system is designed for customer presentation. A concise, step-by-step format will help ensure all details have been addressed in the inspection. The easy to read report design makes it user-friendly for the consumer.  The report also includes a scope which ensures that you understand what our service covers.

We are aware that in many real estate transactions time can make a difference. The design of our system enables you to receive your inspection report immediately upon completion of the inspection to avoid any delays.

Choosing Your Home Inspector

Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet them until after you hire them. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing.

Canadian Residential Home Inspectors (CRIS) are willing to go the extra mile for their clients.  A home inspection requires a lot of work and knowledge. Ultimately, a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector's own effort.

All CRIS inspectors are highly trained and work in the best interest of their client to provide a detailed, unbiased inspection report.

We look forward to serving you!
